Cappuccino

  • 1 espresso coffee
  • 120 ml of hot frothed milk

 

Pour one espresso coffee into one pre-heated cappuccino cup. Now, froth milk using the steam wand of the espresso machine to create the cappuccino foam bubbles by incorporating air into milk. Making sure the steam wand end is placed immediatedly above the milk level,  progressively lower the milk frothing pitcher while milk volume increases.  Then, lower the steam wand into the pitcher to create a vortex into milk, making sure not to overcome 65° C. Now, pour the frothed milk into the cappuccino cup containing the espresso coffee. Remember, a traditional cappuccino is composed of 1/3 of espresso coffee,  1/3 of hot milk and 1/3 of frothed milk.
